C. Jana’ Carter is a Motivational Behavior Specialist, Trauma‑Informed Speaker, Author, Transformational Coach, and founder of Crowned Wellness. After overcoming profound domestic trauma a decade ago, she discovered the power of therapy, reframing, and healing — a journey that fuels her mission today. Jana speaks to youth, educators, therapists, and administrators, empowering them to transform challenges into purpose and possibility.

A dedicated mother of two, she has homeschooled her special‑needs son for seven years and co‑founded PTS Support for Exceptional Children. She has served as Program Director for Mental Health Services of North Carolina and works on a Crisis Support Team supporting individuals recovering from mental illness and substance use.

Since beginning her career in 2016, Jana has become a sought‑after speaker known as The Reframe Queen. Her signature workshops — “Pain to Power” and “The Path to Empowerment” — equip audiences with practical tools for reframing negative thoughts, building resilience, and creating lasting change. She is also the host of The Queen Got Away podcast.
